of the most common elements found in nature. Just about all water
supplies contain some measurable content of iron but particularly
in well waters. Well waters can have an iron content as little
as 0.1 ppm up to 50 ppm or more. Problems typically start occurring
in waters that contain 0.3 ppm and greater.
