- The Pacific Package incorporates all of the many softening
features and reverse osmosis benefits of our Sierra Package but with the addition of whole house
ultraviolet disinfection.
As water flows past the UV lamp(s) in a UV disinfection system,
microorganisms are exposed to Ultraviolet light energy at a 253.7nm
wave length. Ultraviolet light alters the DNA material in cells
so that bacteria, viruses, molds, algae and other microorganisms
can no longer reproduce. The microorganisms are considered dead.
The process of UV Disinfection is accomplished without adding
any harmful chemicals to your drinking water and does not distort
the water or effect its pH value. UV Disinfection has an effective
kill rate of 99.99% of most living microorganisms such as bacteria
& viruses. This outstanding combination offers the ultimate
solution to your household water needs.

- What sets our high flow water
softener systems apart from our competitors - Dual Adjustable Backwashes. There is
an initial backwash set at 10 minutes (adjustable from 1- 99
minutes in the field) that loosens the resin column and discharges
any debris collected on the top of the resin bed since the last
regeneration. We then draw in the brine and rinse it through
the resin in a downward flow. This water softener series, unlike
virtually all other systems, has a second adjustable time backwash
which is factory set at 5 minutes (and field adjustable 1 - 99
minutes) to rid the system of these particles for the ultimate
in cleaning and softening. The SE controls provide quick setup
and programming, Quick connect clips allow easy installation
and maintenance. Each softener includes a high flow bypass valve,
high flow distribution system, plumbing connections in 1"-1.5",
Soft water brine refill, and digital electronic meter initiated
regeneration.

- With the addition of the Pacific Package to your home,
water softening will eliminate soap curd which will significantly
result in better "cleaning power" from your soaps,
detergents, and general household cleaning products. This means
that you will use far less of these soaps & cleaners (about
70% less). Soft water will also increase the life of fabrics
since the fabric fibers will not become prematurely brittle and
colors will not prematurely fade. This saves you money since
you are not replacing clothes, towels, sheets, etc as frequently
as you would with hard water washing. Pacific Package also includes whole house ultraviolet disinfection
